How to Activate 3D Mode on Google Maps Vibrant

1. Turn on your Android phone or tablet and unlock the screen. Press the 'Home' button. Tap the application drawer. Tap 'Maps.'

2. Press the 'Search' button. Enter in your local city. Note that not all areas feature 3D maps, especially rural towns. Tap 'Go.'

3. Tap the 'Layer' button. Un-check 'Satellite' if it is enabled. Hold two fingers on the screen and spread them apart to zoom in. You may have to zoom in a long way before you begin to see 3D buildings.

4. Place two fingers on the screen and slide them down to move the perspective down and examine the buildings. Place two fingers on the screen and make a circular motion to rotate the perspective.
