How to Remove Bloatware From the Evo With a Root App

1. Tap the 'Market' icon in the EVO's App Drawer to access the Android Market.

2. Download an application, such as 'Titanium Backup root,' 'SystemApk Manager' or 'System App Freezer & Remover,' that can access the root folders of your device.

3. Tap the icon in the EVO's App Drawer corresponding to the new application you downloaded to open it.

4. Navigate to the EVO's 'System' folder.

5. Browse the files to locate applications you want to delete. They should appear as APK and ODEX files. Some applications will have both types of files.

6. Press and hold your finger on the file to bring up menu options, and select 'Delete' to remove the application from your device.
