How to Activate My Android From Cricket
1. Contact Cricket customer service by calling 800-274-2538. You will need a valid driver's license or Social Security number. You will also need the electronic serial number of your Android device; find this on the box or on a sticker located in the phone's battery compartment.
2. Write down the 10-digit mobile directory number when the representative provides it to you. This is your Cricket phone number. You should also write down your Mobile Identification Number and CDMA System ID number. You will need to input these numbers manually is over-the-air programming is not available.
3. Place the battery into the battery compartment and slide the battery cover into place. Press the 'Power' key for about two seconds to power your phone on.
4. Press the 'Phone' icon to access the on-screen dial pad. Dial *228, then touch 'Call.' Your phone will attempt to activate -- listen to and follow the voice prompts. If you receive an error message and the programming fails, continue to the next step.
5. Touch the 'Phone' icon to access the dial pad. Touch ##626*. An 'Enter Subsidy Code' will display.
6. Touch '333333.' Touch 'OK.' A menu appears. Touch 'MDN.' Enter your ten digit phone number and touch 'OK.'
7. Touch 'MIN.' Enter your ten digit MIN and touch 'OK.'
8. Touch 'CDMA Home SID.' Enter your CDMA System ID. Touch 'Done.' Your phone will restart and is then ready for use.
