How to Find an App ID
1. Identify the type of system the application runs on. Android applications will run on a diverse set of hardware, while Apple applications are restricted to Apple hardware like iPhones, iPads, and iPods.
2. Identify an Apple app ID by opening iTunes Connect and clicking the 'Get info' tab. The application ID will be the string of numbers listed after a series of names. For example, in the link 'phobos.examplelinkname.1234567' the number string '1234567' represents the unique app ID.
3. Identify an Android app ID by opening your web browser and navigating to market.android.com. In Android, only developers reference and use the numerical app ID. The app ID to consumers is simply the actual name of the application.
