How to Set Up Microsoft Student Email on an Android Phone

1. Press 'Applications.' Press 'Email.'

2. Press 'MS Exchange.'

3. Enter your full Microsoft Student email address. This is usually 'yourusername@live.yourcollege.edu,' but may differ from that depending on your university's specific settings.

4. Type in your password for the email address. Press 'Next.'

5. Type in the 'Server' name. Consult your university's network administrator for the server name if you do not know it.

6. Check the box next to 'Use secure connection (SSL).' Press 'Next.'

7. Wait for the phone to complete the set-up process. Select the frequency for 'Email checking' and the 'Amount to synchronize.' The amount to synchronize can be either 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks or 1 month worth of emails. Press 'Next.'

8. Type in a name for your email account, and then press 'Done' to complete the setup.
