How to Upgrade Swype on T
1. Locate and tap to open the Swype-Installer.apk file on your phone. If you can't find the file, check your browser's Downloads history.
2. Tap 'Update' if a newer version of the installer package is available. If the menu does not prompt you to update, then you are currently running the most recent version of Swype for your operating system.
3. Tap 'Login.' Type your email address and password that are registered to your Swype account. You may be prompted to activate your account if you have not done so already. If asked to activate your account, enter the five-digit code included with the email you received when you registered for Swype. Tap 'Submit.'
4. Tap to select the keyboard you want to install. You can select English/Spanish, Chinese/English, or simply English. Tap 'Install' to complete the process. Tap 'Done' when the installation is finished.
5. Tap 'Enable Swype' if you have not already configured Swype. Check the box labeled 'Swype.'
6. Press the Back button, and tap 'Select Swype.' The next screen prompts you to select an input method. Tap 'Swype' to configure the Swype keyboard as your default input.
