How to Install a .Cur File

1. Save the CUR file to your computer in any location that is convenient for you, such as the Desktop, Documents or Downloads folder.

2. Click the 'Start' button on the bottom-left side of your screen, then select 'Control Panel' to launch the 'Control Panel' folder.

3. Select 'Mouse' from the list to open the 'Mouse Properties' box. If you do not see a 'Mouse' icon in your list, you may be viewing the Control Panel in category view. Click 'View By:' in the top right corner of the Control Panel folder. Select either 'Large Icons' or 'Small Icons' to change your view and display the 'Mouse' option.

4. Display the 'Pointers' tab to view a list of customizable cursors. Customize the default pointer, the busy pointer, link select pointer and more.

5. Highlight the pointer you wish to customize, then click the 'Browse' button below the list.

6. Go to the location where you saved the CUR file, then click 'Open' to set it as the new cursor image.

7. Click 'OK' to exit the Mouse Properties box and save your settings.
