How to Run Zip Files

1. Click the Windows 'Start' menu and type 'Windows Explorer.' Explorer will open.

2. Navigate to the one of your zip files. Right-click the file and select 'Open With.' The Open With window will open and display a list of programs.

3. Click 'Browse' and paste the following in the text box:%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe

4. Click 'Open.' Windows Explorer will appear in the list of programs.

5. Put a check mark next to 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file.' Click 'OK.' Windows will make Windows Explorer the default program that handles zip files.

6. Double-click a zip file anywhere on your hard drive. Windows Explorer will open the file and display it's contents.
