How to Add an App to the Home Screen on Your Motorola Droid
1. Update your Droid with the latest version of its operating system. Connect your Droid to your computer via USB, a Wi-Fi connection or wireless network and check for any updates.
2. Pick the home screen that you want your App to appear on.
3. Bring up the App menu by pressing the gray tab on the bottom center of your Droid's screen.
4. Find the App that you wish to add to one of your home screens. Once you have located the App, place your finger on the App icon and hold it there. The App will automatically appear on whichever home screen you currently have displayed.
5. Move the App around by pressing and holding the App icon until you feel a vibration feedback. You are now able to move the App around to a location of your preference on your home screen.
6. Remove the App if you no longer need it on your home screen. Tap and hold the App icon. Once you feel the vibration feedback, drag the App icon back to the menu tab on the bottom center of the screen. When you do this the menu tab will display a garbage icon indicating you can remove the App from home screen by placing it in the garbage can and releasing your finger.
