How to Reset the Verizon LG Android Display

Software Hard Reset

1. Enter the Settings menu. On the Vortex and the Ally, press the Home button, the Menu button and tap 'Settings.' On the Revolution, tap the Applications menu and hit the 'Settings' application.

2. Tap the 'Privacy' menu option.

3. Press 'Factory Data Reset.' A warning pops up to tell you this deletes all of your applications, settings, photos, videos and other data. Tap 'Reset Phone.'

Hardware Hard Reset

4. Hold the power button down to turn the phone completely off and not just the screen. If the phone is frozen, remove the battery and put it back in.

5. Press and hold the Home button, the down-volume button and the Power button until phone starts to boot. On the Revolution, a 'Permanently Erase' screen appears. Press the power button to confirm that choice on the Revolution.

6. Follow any instructions that may appear on the screen for finishing the reset.
