How to Use an iPhone 3G Car Charger on a Plane

1. Determine what type of adapter you will need for your flight. Some airlines have DC ports on their flights, which means that no further hardware is needed and you can skip to step 4. Contact the airline you will be flying with to see what adapters you will need.

2. Insert the DC adapter of the iPhone charger into the DC to AC Adapter.

3. Connect the adapter to the other end of the AC adapter. (If no adapter is needed, skip this step.)

4. Connect the adapter to the adapter on the plane. Most airplanes have their plugs located either on the armrests, the seat in front of you or on the side of the seat.
