How to Transfer Numbers From Windows to Android
Convert Outlook Contacts to a CSV File Format
1. Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer and click the 'File' tab button. Select 'Options' from the menu list. Select 'Advanced' from the drop-down menu. Scroll down the list until you find the 'Export' section and select 'Export' to display the Import & Export Wizard.
2. Select the 'Export to a file' option from the menu list under 'Choose an action to perform.' Click the 'Next' button to continue.
3. Select the option 'Comma separated values (Windows)' under 'Create a file of type:' and then click the 'Next' button.
4. Select the 'Contacts' folder that you want to export your Outlook contact numbers to your Android phone. Click the 'Next' button.
5. Click 'Browse' under 'Save exported file as page' to select a file name and file path where you want to save it on your computer. Click the 'Next' button. Make certain the check box next to 'Export Contacts from folder: Contacts' is enabled and then click the 'Finish' button.
Import CSV File To Google Gmail
6. Log on to your Google Gmail user account. Enter your user name in the 'Username' text box.
7. Enter your password information in the 'Password' text box and click the 'Sign in' button.
8. Click on the 'Contacts' hyperlink on your Google Gmail Web page.
9. Select 'Import...' from the 'More' drop-down menu.
10. Click the 'Choose File' button. Google Gmail will display the contacts you imported.
