How to Download Android 1.6

1. Open a Web browser and load developer.android.com. Click 'Learn More' under the Download section on the homepage.

2. Click 'installer_r13-windows.exe' to download the executable installation package for the Android software development kit. Double-click 'installer_r13-windows.exe' and click 'Next' on the first window of the installation screen.

3. Click 'Next.' Select an installation directory for Android SDK and click 'Next.' Click 'Install.' Click 'Next.' Click 'Finish.'

4. Click 'Start' and 'Computer.' Double-click the drive that you installed the Android software development kit on and navigate to the SDK folder. Double-click 'SDK Manager.exe' to open the kit's package manager.

5. Click 'Available packages.' Click 'SDK Platform Android 1.6, API 4, revision 3.' Click 'Install selected' to add this to your SDK.
