Can People See Your MMS in Full Size?
Technology
MMS is a direct product of the Short Message Service protocol, which is better known as a text message. While SMS messages are limited to text-only content of 160 characters or less, including numerals and punctuation, MMS messages’ only limits are overall file sizes. MMS messages support the multimedia content mentioned, but are not restricted to only one type of media. For example, if you want to send a picture message with a personal note to one of your contacts, you can do so by virtue of MMS technology. MMS messages are capable of supporting a mixture of picture, video, voice and text content.
Mobile Email
If the picture or video you want to send in an MMS message exceeds the 300 kilobyte limitation and the recipient needs to see a full size version of the image, you could use alternative measures to get the job done. Most mobile phones feature mobile email functionality, which are limited only by the email client’s limitations. Third-party email clients, such as Yahoo or Gmail, offer much larger file limitations or no limitations at all. Attaching a picture or video contained on a mobile phone to an outgoing email will enable the recipient to view the file in full size.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth technology enables mobile phone users to perform an assortment of wireless tasks, such as printing and sharing files, and can be a viable alternative to seeing a picture or video on a mobile phone at full size. For example, the file transfer profile must be contained on both devices to allow you to transfer files, including pictures and videos, from one computing device to another. You can transfer files in this manner without file size limitations and can view the files in their full size.
USB
USB technology, which is a common feature on most mobile phones, is another way you can transfer video and picture files from one device to another for full-sized viewing. You can connect a USB-equipped device to a personal computer through a USB cable link. Once the file is on the computer, the file can be viewed in its full size or transferred to another mobile phone for full-size viewing on that device.
