How to Remove the Lockscreen Clock on an Android

1. Download BlankSerif.ttf font onto your computer, unzip it and put on an SD card. Rename the copy on the SD card 'Clocktopia.ttf.'

2. Put the SD card in your phone, and launch Super Manager. If this is your first time using Super Manager, tap 'Settings' and click the 'Enable ROOT function' check box. Grant it the permissions it asks for, and tap 'Back' when this is done.

3. Tap 'File Explorer' within Super Manager's main screen. Navigate to the System folder, and then the Fonts folder inside of it. You may need to set the access level on the System folder to Read/Write access when you navigate to it.

4. Copy the 'Clocktopia.ttf' font from the fonts folder to a folder on your SD card that does NOT contain the file you renamed in step two. This is your backup copy.

5. Copy the renamed 'Clocktopia.ttf' file you made in step two from your SD card into the fonts folder of your phone. You may be prompted about whether you want to replace the font. The answer is 'Yes.'

6. Tap on the new 'Clocktopia.ttf' font in your fonts folder to select it, then swipe your finger from left to right on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. A little icon with gears and the number '777' will show up – tap this icon to get to the file permissions manager in SuperManager. Make sure that all three 'Read' check boxes are tapped and checked, and that only the 'Write' permission box for the Owner is checked.

7. Exit Super Manager and reboot your phone.
