How to Remove File Folder Icons From a Phone

iPhone

1. Tap on the folder icon you want to remove.

2. Drag any applications (apps) out of the folder and drop them on the home screen or into another folder.

3. Drag the folder off the screen and it will disappear as long as it is empty.

Android

4. Click on the folder icon you want to remove.

5. Hold the folder icon with your finger for two to three seconds.

6. Drag the folder icon to the trash icon. Release the folder icon on top of the trash icon to delete it.

BlackBerry

7. Select the folder icon you want to delete.

8. Press the 'Menu' key.

9. Select 'Delete.'
