How to Manually Clear an LG Apex Android

1. Remove the battery cover from the back of the LG Apex and pull out the battery. A manual factory reset is performed with the power off. You can't turn off the power using the standard method because it requires touch-screen interaction, which is impossible if the screen isn't working.

2. Reinsert the battery and reinstall the cover.

3. Perform a manual hard reset by pressing and holding the 'Volume Up' button on the left side of the phone, the 'Home' button under the screen and the 'Power/Lock' button simultaneously for seven seconds.
