How Can I Tell If My Monitor Is HDCP Compliant?
1. Power on your computer. Log in to Windows with your username and password if prompted. Allow the Windows desktop and all startup applications to load.
2. Right-click an open area of the Windows desktop. Click “Screen Resolution” on the fly-out menu.
3. Click the drop-down list box labeled “Resolution.” Locate the '1920 x 1080' resolution setting and select it. Click the “OK” button. If the monitor accepts the new resolution and Windows displays correctly, your monitor supports HDCP resolution requirements. If the monitor does not display correctly or there is not an '1920 x 1080' option available, your monitor does not support the HDCP standard.
