How to Copy an APK to Nook Color

1. Power your Nook Color on.

2. Connect the Nook Color to your computer through the USB transfer cable. Give the computer some time to recognize the new device attached to the system.

3. Click 'Start.' Click 'Computer.' Click 'MyNookColor.' Your Nook Color opens as though it was external media storage. You can access all of the files and folders on the Nook Color through this drive.

4. Copy and paste your APK file to your Nook Color's folder. You can put the APK file wherever you like, but you may want to create a specific folder for it to make it easy to find. You can't install an APK file to a non-rooted Nook Color, but you can transfer the APK file to it if you just need file storage space.
