How to Add Smileys to Android Eris SMS

1. Tap the 'SMS' application icon to launch the messaging application. Type the compose icon and type the name of the contact that you want to send the smiley to in the space provided.

2. Tap the HTC Droid Eris' touch-sensitive menu button to bring up the device's menu.

3. Tap the 'More' option to view more of the SMS application's menu options.

4. Tap the 'Insert Smiley' option, followed by the smiley that you want to insert to add the smiley to your text.
