How to Turn off Google Voice on an HTC EVO

1. Press the 'Power' button on your phone. Slide the unlock tab down to unlock the screen. Press the 'Home' button.

2. Tap the '^' button to open the application drawer. Tap 'Google Voice.' Press the 'Menu' button, then tap 'More,' then 'Settings.'

3. Tap 'Making Calls.' Tap 'Do Not Use Google Voice to Make Any Calls.' 'Tap 'Sync and Notifications.' Uncheck the 'Inbox Notifications' box.

4. Press the 'Home' button to return to the home screen. Your phone now makes calls without Google Voice and does not alert you to new Google Voice messages.
