How to Reduce YouTube Lag

1. Go to the YouTube homepage and sign in to your account.

2. Click your account name at the top-left of the screen. This displays a list of options in a drop-down menu.

3. Click the 'Settings' option at the bottom of this menu. This takes you to an Account Settings page.

4. Click the 'Playback Setup' option on the left pane. This displays new options at the center of the screen.

5. Click in the radio button next to 'I have a slow connection. Never play higher-quality video,' and then click the 'Save Changes' button at the bottom of the window.
