How to Sync Mobile Facebook Contact Numbers to a Phone
Android
1. Turn on your Android smartphone, and go to the Home screen.
2. Tap the 'Facebook' icon, and press the 'Menu' button on your phone. Touch the 'Settings' option from the pop-up menu.
3. Scroll down to the bottom, and tap the 'Sync Contacts' option.
4. Choose what you want to sync. Your options include 'Sync All' or 'Sync with Existing Contacts.' The latter option will only sync Facebook contacts with people matched in your existing 'Contacts' app. If the person is not there, then it won't sync. If you would like to get all your Facebook contacts on your phone, then you should select 'Sync All.'
5. Tap the 'OK' button. Facebook will begin to sync contacts in the background regardless if the app is running or not. Any time your contacts are updated, it will also sync that data.
iPhone
6. Turn on your iPhone smartphone, and go to the Home screen.
7. Tap the 'Facebook' icon to launch the app, and then touch the 'Friends' icon inside the app.
8. Tap the arrow icon on the upper right corner, and select 'Sync Contacts.'
9. Move the 'Syncing' slider to the 'ON' position.
10. Tap the 'Sync Contacts' button after reading the legal disclosure. The sync process should begin immediately, as Facebook finds your friends and downloads their profile pictures to your 'Contacts' app.
