How to Enable USB Debugging on the Android 2.1



1. Connect a USB cable to an open USB port on your computer and connect the other end to your Android 2.1 device. Press the 'Home' key on the device.

2. Touch the Application Drawer on the home screen and touch Settings, or press the 'Menu' key on the phone and touch Settings. Touch Applications.

3. Press Development. Touch the USB Debugging box. Press 'OK' on the Allow USB Debugging window. Your USB connection with the Android device will disconnect, then reconnect with USB debugging enabled.

4. Drag the Status Bar down and touch the USB Debugging Connected notification. Touch the green check in the USB Debugging box to turn off USB debugging.
