How to Detect a Spy Bug in a House

1. Turn on the high-frequency spy bug detector. Hold the detector against your chest at about mid-breast level. Slowly move throughout a room or space that you want to search for a hidden bug. Once you have moved throughout the room or space, aim the spy bug detector at the ceiling and repeat moving throughout the room or space.

2. Once you have moved throughout the room or space with the detector aimed at the ceiling, aim it at the floor and repeat moving throughout the room or space.

3. Stop moving when the high-frequency spy bug detector beings to beep and LED lights appear on its display. Slowly continue to move in the direction you were going. Continue moving in the direction as the beeps from the high-frequency spy bug detector go from slow to rapid and the LED lights increase in intensity on the display.

4. Stop when the beeps from the high-frequency spy bug detector are sounding at their fastest rate and the LED lights are lit up at their highest intensity.

5. Search the immediate area for the hidden spy bug. Remove the hidden spy bug from the wall, floor or ceiling using a Phillips screwdriver. Destroy the spy bug by breaking its connections on the back using needle-nosed pliers.
