How to Flash the Cyanogen Android Mod

1. Turn on your phone, and start your Web browser. Navigate to the CyangenMod Devices page, and tap on the photo of your phone model. Tap 'Stable Mod'; then tap the latest version of CyanogenMod. Save the file to your MicroSD card.

2. Press the 'Home' button. Tap the application drawer; then tap 'Market.' Press the 'Search' button, and enter 'Rom Manager.' Tap 'Search.'

3. Tap 'ROM Manager,' then 'Free,' then 'OK.' Wait for the app to download and install. Slide the notification bar down, and tap 'ROM Manager.'

4. Tap 'OK,' then 'Flash ClockworkMod Recovery.' Tap your phone model. Tap 'OK.' Tap 'Allow,' then 'OK' again. Tap 'Reboot into Recovery.'

5. Use the volume buttons to select 'Wipe Data/Factory Reset.' Press the 'Power' button. Select 'OK'; then press the 'Power' button again. Wait for the wipe to complete.

6. Highlight 'Install Zip From SD Card' and press 'Power.' Highlight 'Download' and press 'Power.' Highlight the downloaded ZIP file and press 'Power.' Highlight 'OK,' and press 'Power.' Wait for the package to install -- this could take 10 to 30 minutes.

7. Press the 'Power' button; then press it again to restart into CyanogenMod. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your phone.
