How to Turn Off the Clicking Sound on the Droid

1. Press the 'POWER' button, then swipe the unlock tab to the right to unlock the screen. Press the 'HOME' button.

2. Press the 'MENU' button, then tap 'Settings.' Tap 'Language and Keyboard.' Tap 'Android keyboard.'

3. Tap the box next to 'Sound on keypress,' so that the box is un-checked. Press the 'BACK' button three times to return to the home screen.

4. Press the 'SEARCH' button and begin typing. The keys no longer make a 'clicking' sound.
