How to Remount Aria SD Cards

Software Remount

1. Press the button at the top of the HTC Aria to wake it up. Swipe your finger down the screen to access the home page.

2. Press the 'Menu' button to bring up the small menu. Tap 'Settings' on the menu.

3. Swipe your finger up the screen, which will scroll down the menu, until you find the 'SD & phone storage' option. Tap that option.

4. Tap the 'Mount SD card' option, which should be the third option down from the top of the menu. There will be a 'Preparing SD card' message at the top of the screen. After a few seconds, that message will disappear and the 'Mount SD card' option will change to say 'Unmount SD card.'

5. Turn the HTC Aria over. Place your thumb on the silver speaker and your fingers on the top of the device. Push down slightly with your thumb while you pull back with your fingers to remove the back housing.

6. Locate the SD card in the bottom-right corner of the device. Place a fingernail against the lip on the right edge of the card and push the card toward the right to remove it. Wait about a second, then slide the card back into its slot, ensuring that the metal contacts on the card are pointing down and to the left. Once you reinsert the card, the Aria will automatically go through the remounting process.

7. Slide the HTC Aria down into the battery cover so that the port on the bottom of the device fits into the opening at the bottom of the cover. Push the top of the device toward the cover until it clicks into place.
