How to Disable the Android Accelerometer

1. Touch the 'Applications' icon to launch your full list of applications.

2. Touch 'Settings.' A list of options appears -- touch 'Sound and Display.'

3. Scroll through the list of options until you see 'Orientation.' Touch the check box next to 'Orientation' to remove the check box and disable the accelerometer.
