How to Reverse Mouse Buttons

1. Start in the Control Panel. To get the correct window, select 'Start' and 'Control Panel.' This will bring up a new window on your screen.

2. Change to Classic View if you are not seeing all the icons on the Control Panel window. Select the 'Classic View' on the upper left hand side of the window, in the first box. If this option is not appearing on your window, click the down arrow button next to the words 'Control Panel.'

3. Double click on the 'Mouse' icon or word in the Control Panel window. This will bring up another window called Mouse Properties.

4. Click the 'Buttons' tab in the Mouse Properties window if not already on the tab. In the top box of Button Configuration, click the box for 'Switch Primary and Secondary Buttons.'

5. Look down to the next box on the same Mouse Properties window to the Double Click Speed. This is where you can set your index finger speed when you are double clicking. Move the bar to the faster side of your first digit can click with rapid succession or slide it to the left if your pointer finger is just a little on the slower side.
