How to Move Icons to a Droid Desktop

1. Scroll to the desktop where you want to place an application shortcut icon. Ensure that there is sufficient room on the desktop for the icon. Each desktop holds up to 16 standard shortcut icons.

2. Open the Application drawer and scroll to the application icon you want to place a link to on your desktop. Press and hold the application icon. When the screen switches to the desktop, release the icon. You can also press the 'Menu' button on the phone, press 'Add,' touch 'Shortcut' and then press the application you want to add to the home screen.

3. Press and hold an application shortcut icon on the desktop until the trash can icon appears. Drag the shortcut icon to the trash can and release to remove the shortcut from the home screen.
