How to Install Google Android on the HTC Leo: HD2

1. Connect your HTC HD2 Leo smartphone to your computer with the phone's USB data cable. You can also simply remove the SD card from the phone and insert it into your computer's SD card reader, if you do not have the data cable available.

2. Download a ROM compatible with your HTC smartphone. You can download the ROMs off different websites such as HD2Roms.com. Extract the ROM ZIP file on your computer and paste the complete folder to the SD card on the phone. You can drag and drop the folder to either your SD card's drive letter or the smartphone's drive letter, depending on whether you connected the phone directly or you're using a card reader. Disconnect the Leo once the data has transferred.

3. Tap 'Start' and 'File Explorer' on the HD2 Leo. Tap the SD card. Tap the 'Android' folder contained on the SD card.

4. Tap 'CLRXAD.exe' and allow this program to run. Tap 'HARET.exe' to begin the Android imaging process. If this is the first time you're booting into Android on the Leo, your initial setup time may take up to 10 minutes or longer. Your phone boots in to the Android operating system environment once the process completes.
