How to Download Music to My Droid



Windows

1. Connect the Droid to one of your computer's USB ports with the micro USB cable.

2. Tap then drag down the status bar on the phone. Tap 'USB Connected.'

3. Tap 'Mount.' The Droid's memory card is now connected to your computer.

4. Open 'My Computer' and double click 'Removable Device' to access the Droid's memory card directory. Create a new folder entitled 'Music.'

5. Drag music files from your computer and drop them into the music folder on the Droid. You can also accomplish this using copy or cut and paste. Securely disconnect your phone when the process has finished by right clicking the directory and selecting 'Safely Remove Hardware.'

Mac

6. Connect the Droid to one of your MAC's USB ports with the micro USB cable.

7. Tap and drag down the status bar on the phone. Tap 'USB Connected.'

8. Tap 'Mount' to connect the Droid's memory card to the computer. The memory card displays as a removable device directory on your desktop.

9. Open the phone's memory card directory. Create a new folder labeled 'Music.'

10. Drag the MP3s or other music files and drop them in your phone's new 'Music' folder. When you finish copying files, securely disconnect the device by pressing Ctrl+click on the memory card directory, then selecting 'Eject.'
