How to Troubleshoot Android Gmail

1. Hold the power button down on your Android phone. Check this menu and disable 'Airplane Mode' if it is on. Choose 'Power off' from the power down menu. Hold the button down to turn your phone back on.

2. Check your phone's Internet connection. You may not be receiving a powerful enough signal to connect to your Gmail account. Switch to your wireless network if you don't have access to your phone's data network or move to a location that has a signal.

3. Update your Gmail application. You may be encountering an error with the Gmail application that prevents you from properly receiving your email.

4. Go to your home screen on the phone and press your Applications button. Go to 'My Accounts,' and tap it. Confirm that you have the right Google account associated with your phone.
