How to Enable Tracfone With USB

1. Navigate to your Tracfone's manufacturing website. Common manufacturers include Motorola, LG and Samsung.

2. Choose the 'Support' option. Select the model and make of your Tracfone. A list of all available troubleshooting and support files appears, including device downloads.

3. Click the device download option and select the driver option. This will download the driver for the phone to your computer. The driver is required for the phone to properly be detected by the computer.

4. Double-click the downloaded driver to load the installation wizard. Leave the installation name and location as it appears and choose 'Install' to install the driver onto the computer.

5. Plug the USB data cable into the USB port on the Tracfone and insert the other end into a USB port on the computer. The Tracfone is now able to directly communicate with the computer system.
