How to Load Music Onto an Android Phone

1. Connect your Android phone to your computer with a USB cable. Attach one end of the cable to the port on your phone and the other to an open port on your computer.

2. Press 'Turn On USB Storage' on the 'USB Connected' screen and click 'OK' at the prompt. Open Windows Explorer and double-click the removable drive that corresponds to your Android microSD card.

3. Double-click the 'Music' folder in the root directory of your microSD card. Drag and drop music files into the folder. You can also drag and drop folders that contain songs into the directory if your music is organized by artist or album.

4. Press 'Turn Off USB Storage' and disconnect the phone from the computer. The Android music player will not play music on the microSD card if USB Storage is enabled.
